The Palace has stood on the highest point of the mountain terrace in Mürren since 1874, proudly holding the title of Switzerland’s oldest Palace. In 2024, the historic hotel began a new chapter in its storied history, with the building extensively renovated and enhanced by a new extension. Mürren is a very special mountain village in the Bernese Oberland. It enjoys a sunny location on a high plateau at 1650 m above sea level with spectacular panoramic views of the famous Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau triumvirate.
